Restructuring Futura Floors GmbH
Following the poor and disappointing performance of the company Futura Floors, Plena Group Board decided to remove the management of Futura Floors with immediate effect. Plena Group CEO, Mattias Sjoborg, will become interim CEO during restructuring and until suitable candidate has been found.
Mattias said “we now draw a line on a period which is to be forgotten and focus on the prosperous future this company will have. Whilst it will take some time to clean up, we will with some good people in the company, new recruits and full support from sister company – Xylon Corp, rebuild Futura with a new brand image and a new exciting strategy to be announce end of 2019”.

Plena Egypt appoints a new Managing Director and the creation of Vision 2022
Plena Group is happy to announce the appointment of Ahmed El Masry as our new Managing Director for Plena Egypt. Ahmed came on as consultant during the year and has been an integral part in the creation of Vision 2022 “One Vision One Team”. Ahmed starts his tenure as Managing Director as of 1st January 2019.
Ahmed is not new to Plena and/or the industry as he worked with us during the early 2000s. He has since had high managerial positions in both Kolher and Saint Gobain. His strategic, managerial and commercial mind are important assets as the operation aims to double in size over the coming 3 years.
